Academy Tennis Staff:
We have the most
successful group of coaches in Orange County.
They have gained their reputation through years of dedication to
the development of the tennis skills and character of their young
tennis players. They are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to
the development of each player. Many of their students have
become CIF Champions, Sectional Champions, National Champions,
professional players and recipients of sportsmanship awards.
Academy Program Objectives:
This tennis academy is
year round, designed for junior tennis
players, ages 7 - 18 years old. We offer challenging weeks of
conditioning, drilling and competitive play to raise students game
to the next level. The coaching staff incorporates elements of
training which prepare students physically and mentally for top
level junior tennis competition.
For Beginning & Intermediate Players:
This program's emphasis is on stroke development and understanding
the correct mechanics of each stroke. We teach dependable strokes,
which allow the players to move to the ball quickly and hit with control
and pace. For beginners- the soundness and simplicity of the strokes
we teach will give the beginner ball control and the ability
to play immediately.
For High School Players:
This program is specifically designed to help the students become
better players - to simplify and strengthen their strokes, to improve
their physical condition (including diet and nutrition) and to give them
more self - confidence in competitive play. We also help each student
to play better doubles and inspire them to improve their skills - for
themselves and their team.
Advanced & Tournament Players:
(NATIONALLY RANKED, SECTIONALLY RANKED,
OR ABOUT TO BE RANKED)
The advanced players will focus on becoming
sounder, smarter, better
conditioned and tougher tennis competitors. Provided for the students
will be advanced drills, physical conditioning, and a lot of match play
(singles and doubles) in a challenging competitive format. We will make
their strokes “ more “ consistent, powerful and effective, enabling them
to improve their tournament results.
Academy Schedule:
Every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY - (year-round)
4:00pm - 6:00pm
ELIGIBILITY: Ages 6 - 18, All levels.
