G o i n g   t h e   D i s t a n c e  .  .  .

 

Have you ever felt you wanted to challenge yourself both physically and mentally

by participating in an athletic event such as a 10k, marathon, century bike ride,

or a triathlon?  There is a great sense of accomplishment and achievement in

training and completing an event.  Remember that not all race events are long,

grueling distances.  There are many challenges in competing in shorter sprint

distances, too!  Many events are also fundraisers for charitable organizations

where the entry fees go towards a good cause!

 

Training Activities: 

 

Monthly trail runs in local wilderness parks; Weekly Saturday morning

bike rides; Early morning workouts; And other fun activities!
